We believe human generosity involves as all forms of behaviour that people conduct with the intention to benefit others (including people, animals, and environments). This simple definition is designed to incorporate the vast ways people help each other and the world around them. Generosity behaviors can be formal, such as donating money to charities, volunteering for nonprofit organisations, or giving blood. Generosity can also be informal and include instances where people help strangers, or get involved in small, community groups.
